From: The Pastor’s Heart
Title: “The Founder of ISIS… Really?”

Just when I thought Donald Trump has reached the bottom, he goes lower. Forgive
me if I’m too much of a political junky by bringing him up again, but I woke up this
morning stunned to learn that the Republican nominee for president literally said that
President Obama is the FOUNDER of ISIS! I almost spilled my coffee.

Yesterday my message was dealing with being mindful of what you say because
words matter and they can be dangerous. The freedoms we have been given in this
country allow us the opportunity to speak our minds and express our opinions, but the
climate in which we live is too toxic for people of influence to spew divisive and
insufferable rhetoric. So many of us are shaped by words that are spoken over us or
directly to us and if those words are filled with hatred and bigotry, then we can potentially
become the thing that’s been declared.

When the preacher says to me, “By His stripes we are healed…” I literally believe
that I shall be healed. When the prophet says to me, “I can do all things through Christ
which strengthens me…”, I literally believe that I can to it. When my Pastor tells me,
“Greater is He that’s in me than he that’s in the world…”, I get up and live my life
according to that statement. Words have been used to transform not only the way we
think, but the way we live and that’s why we must respect the power of the tongue.
It’s alright to disagree with a person’s position, platform, politics, and perceptions,
because no two people think and feel exactly the same about all matters. I’m a fan of open
dialogue and debate and most people who are dreamers and thinkers appreciate spirited
discourse, but when the tone turns obnoxious, it becomes desperate and unsafe. The Lord
expects you and I to be mature and Christlike regardless of what emotion we may be
experiencing at the time.

Today, I want you to join me in a personal campaign to spread positive words and
uplifting comments to as many people as you can. Go on social media platforms and help
me build up and lift up a community who’s been hearing to many divisive statements in
recent weeks. Instead of just monitoring what you say, let’s purposefully say as much as we
can today that’s encouraging, uplifting, and inspiring. There are many who can use your
witty and pleasant expressions today and I hope you’ll put time aside to promote love over
hate.

I’m sorry Mr. Trump, but you’re very, very wrong. Our President is NOT the founder of ISIS
and I’m stunned that you said that and doubled down on it. Wow! Help us Father!

EVERYTHING WE DO MOVING FORWARD WILL BE INTENTIONAL AND DRIVEN WITH
PURPOSE TO REPRESENT THE KINGDOM OF GOD IN THE BEST POSSIBLE LIGHT!
NOTHING WILL BE DONE WITH ENERGY LESS THAN OUR BEST AND EFFORT BELOW
OUR MAXIMUM POTENTIAL.

OUR SERVICE IS LOCAL, BUT OUR REACH IS GLOBAL – SO WE CANNOT REDUCE OUR
PRESENTATION DOWN TO WHAT’S CONVENIENT, BUT RATHER WE MUST RAISE IT TO
THAT WHICH IS EXPLOSIVE!

Get ready for major change that’s coming systematically, intellectually, purposefully, and
professionally. Nothing we do moving forward will be done haphazardly, sloppily, poorly,
or carnally.

We Are the LIGHT!

Sincerely,
Pastor J.E. Chandler, Sr.
