From: The Pastor’s Heart
Title: “DONE!”

Thank you Jesus! These three words have been flowing out of my mouth this
morning because I have finally completed one of the most challenge and yet rewarding
projects of my life. What a feeling we get when we step into the moment that something
we’ve been working on is finally completed. That then affords us the luxury of moving on
to the next assignment and raising the level of our reach just a little bit higher. I want to
ask you today, what things are you going to declare are DONE in your life today?

One of the things that we should declare DONE, is our allowing the ‘Spirit of Fear’
to disrupt and interrupt the blessings that only come through a faith move. I’m a risk taker
by nature and have no quorums about launching out into the deep regardless of the water
temperature or the potential obstructions below the surface. Some of you, however, are
not. You’re very cautious about what move you make because you like things to make
sense and you function better when things are in your control. I understand that, but I also
know that much of what God wants for your life requires that you trust Him, not yourself.
Faith, by definition, is the substance of what we hope for and acquiring the evidence that
we cannot see. It’s time you make a faith move.

The second thing that we should declare DONE in our life, is let’s be done with the
‘Spirit of Regret’. Three different people this week shared with me that they wished they
had done ‘this and that’ a long time ago. They felt like it was too late for them to reach the
goals and realize the dreams they once had in their youth. I told them right away, “The
devil is a liar and you need to call him that to his face!” Listen, haven’t we seen many
times in the word of God that our Lord cannot be bound by human time tables? His not
intimidated by mother time nor does He work according to our schedule. Since you still
have breath in your body, then you can still get the work done and accomplish the task
before you.

Finally, we need to declare that we are DONE holding on to the ‘Spirit of
Unforgiveness’. We have no business still holding a grudge against what somebody did to
us in the past. I know it hurt and it may have even set you back emotionally, physically, or
financially. It may have altered your character then and somewhat even today, but you
can’t allow it to consume you and change who you are in Christ. If Jesus was willing and
able to forgive men who falsely accused Him and ultimately crucified Him, then why can’t
we forgive those who abused our trust and broke their word. Life’s too short and too
precious to waste time in anger and distain. Let that thing go and let God heal you
completely. It’s a new day and it’s a day that we can holler… “Hey, I’m DONE!”

EVERYTHING WE DO MOVING FORWARD WILL BE INTENTIONAL AND DRIVEN WITH
PURPOSE TO REPRESENT THE KINGDOM OF GOD IN THE BEST POSSIBLE LIGHT!
NOTHING WILL BE DONE WITH ENERGY LESS THAN OUR BEST AND EFFORT BELOW
OUR MAXIMUM POTENTIAL.

OUR SERVICE IS LOCAL, BUT OUR REACH IS GLOBAL – SO WE CANNOT REDUCE OUR
PRESENTATION DOWN TO WHAT’S CONVENIENT, BUT RATHER WE MUST RAISE IT TO
THAT WHICH IS EXPLOSIVE!

Get ready for major change that’s coming systematically, intellectually, purposefully, and
professionally. Nothing we do moving forward will be done haphazardly, sloppily, poorly,
or carnally.

We Are the LIGHT!

Sincerely,
Pastor J.E. Chandler, Sr.
