Title: “It’s Already Begun”
Something’s happening that’s propelling my spiritual energy up another level. There’s more
than a feeling of excitement and anticipation of what God is revealing in this season of the
church, but it’s more like an awakening to the endless possibilities awaiting those who are
hungry and thirsty for His presence. Regardless of the chaos and disruptions going on in
the world of which we live, there is also a sweet aroma of heaven’s glory surrounding and
encompassing the evil that’s trying to prevail. To appreciate what’s coming demands that
you and I prepare ourselves in the best possible way.
First, let’s do as the great writer of Hebrews said, “Wherefore seeing we also are
compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the
sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before
us.” It is important it is that we consider every move we’re about to make at each interval
of our day before making it. The cost of our salvation was more than we could have ever
paid and because God gave His best to redeem us, it’s right and righteous that we strive to
live in a way that pleases Him. I know we all have sinned and fallen short of His glory and
once our flesh has tasted sin, it’s a challenge to permanently steer clear of it. It’s a
challenge, but it’s one that we must successful do because to much is on the line.
Secondly, we should begin going out of our way on a daily bases to enrich somebody
else’s life in every way that we can. The bible teaches us that ‘iron sharpens iron’ and the
more that we can do to bring blessings and prosperity to others, the more heaven begins
releasing provision for us. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that we ‘give’ in order to ‘get’, but
we offer kindness and love to others because that is what we’ve received time and time
again. It’s not difficult at all to support and speak well of those who’ve blessed our lives
and those who are doing good things, but there’s no monumental kingdom reward in that.
What does speak volumes in glory is when we pray for and bless those who work to do us
harm or who put no effort in returning the love we’ve offered.
Finally, make time today for meditation and devotion. Not just a quick prayer where you
bow your head and close your eyes to appear pious and consecrated, but I beg of you to
steal away into your secret closet and experience the Lord in the way that He’s moving
today. Corporate worship is amazing and it does wonder to motivate us to reach for
perfection in the way we live, but private devotion and worship is what modifies the depth
of our Godly wisdom and understanding. The heart of a true worshipper adores the
presence of the Lord and the more you draw nigh to Him, the more He’ll draw nigh to
you. Something’s coming, I can feel it deep within. Get ready…it’s already begun.
EVERYTHING WE DO MOVING FORWARD WILL BE INTENTIONAL AND DRIVEN WITH
PURPOSE TO REPRESENT THE KINGDOM OF GOD IN THE BEST POSSIBLE LIGHT!
NOTHING WILL BE DONE WITH ENERGY LESS THAN OUR BEST AND EFFORT BELOW
OUR MAXIMUM POTENTIAL.
OUR SERVICE IS LOCAL, BUT OUR REACH IS GLOBAL – SO WE CANNOT REDUCE OUR
PRESENTATION DOWN TO WHAT’S CONVENIENT, BUT RATHER WE MUST RAISE IT TO
THAT WHICH IS EXPLOSIVE!
Get ready for major change that’s coming systematically, intellectually, purposefully, and
professionally. Nothing we do moving forward will be done haphazardly, sloppily, poorly,
or carnally.
We Are the LIGHT!
Sincerely,
Pastor J.E. Chandler, Sr.
