From: The Pastor’s Heart
Title: “Even If..”
Isn’t it something that you can start one morning so energized and focused that nothing
dare try to impede a single blessing awaiting you; and then the next day it’s like you are
looking for a creative needle in a haystack. Well, I’m having one of those mornings when
I’m not able to plant and build behind the driving force of my spirit, but rather I’m forced
to lean on what I know is best regardless of the inside cloud hanging overhead. Don’t get
me wrong, there’s nothing dramatic or problematic going on in my life right now, I’m just
not feeling the innovative juices flowing.
So what do you do when you know your life is meant to make a difference but you’re not
feeling impactful or enriched enough to fire-up yourself and others? How do you inspire
eager and hungry minds around you to reach for the stars when you can’t seem to get your
feet off the floor? Where do you find the determination to motivate a team of your peers
that they can do all things through Christ that strengthens them when you’re not feeling
strong enough to tie your shoe laces? Well, since you asked so many good questions, I
believe I just may have some answers in my pocket here somewhere (smile).
First, let’s remove this whole notion that you have to FEEL the FIRE to be a FLAME of light
and inspiration to others. So much of what we do for the Lord and how we work to
advance His kingdom, has NOTHING to do with what we feel, but everything to do with
what we KNOW! You see, even right now as I’m typing this word to you I’m starting to
experience an infusion of God’s presence and power. Some revelations and impartations
only come through our doing and not from our waiting. Start performing what right in the
Kingdom and before you know it, you’ll begin experiencing the majesty of the kingdom.
Secondly, you really have more inside to offer the world then you’re given yourself credit
for. We tend to see problems and barriers before we see promises and blessings. It’s natural
for our flesh to focus on what’s wrong and miss all the wonders of what’s right. I bet if you
start comparing the good in your life against the bad, you’ll discover that you have SO
MUCH MORE to be thankful for than you have time to complain about what’s not working
the way you envisioned it.
Finally, ‘Stop-Drop-and-Pop’: STOP what you’re doing right now, DROP on your knees
before a mighty and merciful God, and POP open an internal can of praise unto the Lord
for allowing you to see another day. Just being in the land of the living one more time is
reason enough to let Him know that your spirit will glorify Him no matter what the flesh
may be telling you. Tell Him that He’s just been too good to you for you to not send up a
full force praise anyhow! So, EVEN IF… you’re not feeling it doesn’t mean that He’s not
worthy of it. – Hey, I’m sorry, but I’ve gotta go now! Something just shifted and I gotta
STOP-DROP-and-POP it! #givemesomedancingroom #glorytoGod #tellyourneighbor…
EVERYTHING WE DO MOVING FORWARD WILL BE INTENTIONAL AND DRIVEN WITH
PURPOSE TO REPRESENT THE KINGDOM OF GOD IN THE BEST POSSIBLE LIGHT!
NOTHING WILL BE DONE WITH ENERGY LESS THAN OUR BEST AND EFFORT BELOW
OUR MAXIMUM POTENTIAL.
OUR SERVICE IS LOCAL, BUT OUR REACH IS GLOBAL – SO WE CANNOT REDUCE OUR
PRESENTATION DOWN TO WHAT’S CONVENIENT, BUT RATHER WE MUST RAISE IT TO
THAT WHICH IS EXPLOSIVE!
Get ready for major change that’s coming systematically, intellectually, purposefully, and
professionally. Nothing we do moving forward will be done haphazardly, sloppily, poorly,
or carnally.
We Are the LIGHT!
Sincerely,
Pastor J.E. Chandler, Sr.
